We were lucky to find Gulliver. We travelled to Ecuador as a family of 5. Gulliver planned a series of excellent and reasonably priced adventures that all of us enjoyed. Our impressive guide Andres shared his expert knowledge of Ecuadorian wildlife and provided insights into the social and economic life in Ecuador that helped us better appreciate the country and its development. From Quito, we took trips to Mitad del Mundo, the Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, a magical place to see rare birds and orchids, Laguna Cuicocha, Cayambe, Otavalo, Cotachaci, Lago San Pablo, and the Papallacta hot springs. For the second half of our trip, we stayed at the wonderful Hosteria Papagayo, a great base for the awesome avenue of the volcanoes. We hiked up Cotopaxi and then we biked down to the lagoon at the base of the mountain, both fun and memorably challenging. We went horseback riding on a trail with amazing views of Corazon and Illinizas. We also hiked Pasachoa. We were impressed with everyone from Gulliver, the guides, drivers, staff at Papagayo, and other travelers using the same group tours. We still have more to see in Ecuador, and we will certainly contact Gulliver again. We highly recommend this agency.
